2016 – a year many say was horrible. To me it was, really, quite a blur. The year went by so fast that I feel I have lived lifetimes within it. Really. Lifetimes.
It was so busy I had no time to dwell on anything negative much. So, has it been a bad year? Not really. If anything, 2016 was a year of growth. My readership grew. My insanity too. In general, it was a good(ish) year for me personally.
I travelled and wrote and travelled and wrote and worked and worked and worked. It was a year of new faces. New communities. Interesting discoveries. The best part was getting some of my own family to start writing. I really am enjoying reading their posts. It started with my cousin Lee from love, strongHER. Then I bugged her (not so little) brother Victian from vivabuys. Then my own little sister Kim from The Art of Growing Up. I am so proud of them for taking the plunge. They are so super talented.
Now I look forward to 2017 and the challenges and victories it may bring. I have decided I will attempt to write a book. My NaNoWriMo attempt this year failed to launch. 2017 will be the year. I’m feeling quite gutsy.
To all those who took the time to read my ramblings I say THANK YOU! You all are my Dr. Feel Good.
So, with this, I say farewell to 2016. It’s been real. Hello 2017…Show me what you’ve got. Bring it!
