Clawing out from the smokey embers
She reaches upward
Toward her dream
The past, it cannot hold her down
She looks beyond
The rising steam
Her yesterday dictates demise
Tomorrow comes with promises new
She grabs a hold of them
She holds fast
She rises out above the rest
Those who sneered and jeered
Eyes alight with mockery
She is destined for greatness
Now here she rises
A flower sprouting out from the cinders
A queen
