Do I fancy myself a writer?
Well, yes. Yes I do.
This is not just a passing fancy
But the expression of the inner me
A fanciful suggestion
From a friend so long ago
Regular flights of fancy
Bringing my imagination to the fore
Every day something new
Something that is me
So, do I fancy myself a writer?
Yes, I do, indeed.
