Running on Empty

Thought I was going crazy
Totally out of my mind
Wafting through the haze
That was my life

Thought I had lost it
The will to live
Thought I wouldn’t make it
I had no more to give

Thought I’d never pull through
I was just too broken
Running on empty
Running on air

You saved me from my slump
From my despair
Planted my feet on sure land
Showered me with Your care

Raised me to higher heights
I could see over the horizon
I was running on empty
And You saved me from myself
