To feel
The kiss of the midday sun
Watching the cherubs as they run
Along the sandy stretch…oh what fun
The freedom to be
Laughing as you gaze his way
Feel the way he makes your heart sway
Search his eyes and know it’s okay
The freedom to be
Reading all the letters old
Standing tall and being bold
Knowing just when to fold
The freedom to be
Kneeling down to say a prayer
When things just do not seem to be fair
Casting over all your care
The freedom to be
Loved by all and one and me
To live a life of bitter free
To strive toward the distant I see
The freedom to be…
